💻 What’s new in Mediebank?

• Streamlined country-specific terms and conditions

  We’ve introduced a more fluid and secure system for handling country-specific terms and conditions in verification requests, tailored to each Mediebank distributor. Read more in our Developer Documentation.
• Enhanced asset management

  Experience-improved stability when adding large volumes of assets to collections, making your workflow smoother than ever. Read more in our Developer Documentation.
• Finnish language support

  Say hello to Finnish! Our application now fully supports Finnish in every area, including public sections and emails. Read more in our Developer Documentation.

🔥 Fresh plugins alert

• CuttingRoom

  Seamlessly edit your Mediebank assets directly within the cloud-native CuttingRoom video editing tool. This powerful integration bridges your media workflows, making editing a breeze. Dive into the details here.
• WordPress

  Effortlessly add pictures and videos from Mediebank to your WordPress articles and pages. With this plug-in, your Mediebank files are just a click away in the WordPress side menu, available in both the classic editor and Gutenberg. Learn more about it here.

🚀 Enhanced Office 365 plugin

• New organization-picker

  For users with access to multiple Mediebank organizations, we’ve added a convenient organization-picker in Office 365. Download the plugin here.

📱 Smartphone app upgrades

• Direct-to-My Disk with FTP

  You may now choose My Disk as an FTP destination from the app. Default metadata settings are now properly synced with the web application.
• Performance boosts

  Enjoy a faster, more responsive app experience with our latest performance enhancements.

Over the next few weeks, we’re rolling out some exciting new features in Mediebank that will elevate your experience:

• Asset versions

  Our upcoming versioning feature makes it possible to have multiple versions of the same asset. 
• New preview page

  We’re giving the asset preview page a complete makeover, along with an enhanced gallery view, to make browsing and managing your assets smoother and more intuitive.
• Guest info preview

  Get more context at a glance. We’re adding support for displaying guest uploader information directly on the asset preview page, so you’ll always know who contributed what.
• Advanced search

  Our redesigned filter menu is on the way, offering you more powerful and precise search capabilities to find exactly what you need.
• Mini-map integration

  See where your assets come from! We’re extracting camera data and displaying it on a mini-map in the asset preview, letting you visualize the geographic origin of your content.
• Searchable PDFs

  We’re making PDFs more powerful! Soon, you’ll be able to search PDF files, even if they lack corresponding text files, making it easier to find what you are looking for in the News Archive.
• Sitevision

  We’re putting the finishing touches on our Sitevision plug-in! Soon, you'll be able to seamlessly add assets from your Mediebank directly into your Sitevision articles and pages.
